4 Week Board & Train Program

Idaho Elite K-9 offers a 4 week training and boarding program.  This program is a great option for those who want their dog to be fully trained but may not have as much time to put into the needed daily training at home in the beginning or for dogs who just need a little more one on one training.  

The 4 week training and boarding program will take place at our facility where you will bring your dog to stay at the facility with us for 4 weeks. During your dogs stay we will work on mastering basic obedience skills.  You will be asked to come to the facility once a week to work one on one with your dog and the the trainer so that you can also gain the education and skills needed once your dog returns homes.  This could be more depending on you and your dogs abilities, but we do ask for once a week at a minimum. 

While at the facility your dog will have individualized training each day to help them with mastering obedience skills during their stay with us.  Once your dog returns home this package also will include 2 home sessions where we can work with both you and your dog in their home environment.  By the time your dog returns home to be with your family they will have learned these basic commands:

* Sit

* Stay

*Drop It

* Recall

* Lay Dow

* Basic Leash Training / Off Leash Training

* Heel

* Bed/Place

This list above can also be more customized to see the needs of you and your dog after the initial consultation. You are also welcome to call and check on your dog or come visit them while they are here during their 4 week stay. There will also be recommended list of items that your dog will need during their stay with us.  Most of those items can be purchased through Idaho Elite K-9 if you don't have them.  It is also preferred that you bring your dog their own food during their stay so that we can make sure they are eating what they are accustomed to eating at home.

We specialize in helping to set both you and your dog up for success with their training and the 4 week option is a fantastic program to help you both master all of the skills needed for a long and happy life together. 

*** Please note when purchasing this option that the initial appointment booking is for the first session.  The rest of your sessions or drop off for a boarding program will be scheduled at the first initial session.
